Winter Holidays, 2012

Happy New Year all vintage guitar enthusiasts!
It's been quite a year. I'm still singing and playing the blues in a small band here in town and still having fun doing it. I've also been looking at the collection of stuff that I have and have decided to part with instruments and amplifiers I rarely use any more. I have not taken this step lightly and the list is not final. These are instruments that I have had for years and they have been very important to me personally. Whoever gets them will be getting exceptional gear.
Prices of vintage instruments and parts continue to decline or flatline. I'm amazed to see some people pricing things at 2007 levels. Come on folks, if you want to sell it, price it like it's 2012! Stuff on this site is priced to sell. If it isn't, let me know, my phone number is at the bottom of this page.

Welcome aficionados! Contact info is below. The purpose of this web site is to find welcome new homes for a few choice parts left over from my days in the vintage guitar business in the late 70's and early 80's. I am not a dealer, so this is finite inventory and when it's gone it's gone. When I got out of the business in 1985 the parts were put in storage and the cream of the crop is now available here. Unless otherwise indicated, all the parts have been in boxes for the last 20 years, not installed on a guitar subject to more wear and tear. Any amps or guitars for sale are my personal instruments that I no longer use. Since the early 90's I've had a small classified ad in the back of Vintage Guitar magazine but we are now well into the 21st century, so here is a website! There are a few things on this list that have never previously been for sale. I have been saving them "just in case" but the time has come to let them go. As I have been doing for years, I'll refer you to Terry Mueller if you need vintage parts that are not on this list. See my Terms page for his contact info. If you haven't already, check out my old friend and fellow vintage guitar hound Robb Lawrence's brand new book, the Les Paul Legacy, just published by Hal Leonard. This book features a lot of great information about the man and the guitars, as well as one of my own guitars. Of course a lot of great photos are included but this book doesn't stop at being a great picture book. It also has in depth details, quotes and anecdotes, all annotated in Robb's inimitable style, you will surely enjoy it!
